New Delhi: Before the home ODI and T20 series against West Indies, Team India has suffered a major setback. The corona report of Team India's opener Shikhar Dhawan, Rituraj Gaikwad along with middle-order batsman Shreyas Iyer and fast bowler Navdeep Saini has come positive. Even after this, Team India's ODI vice-captain KL Rahul will not be with the team in the first ODI.
Due to this corona blast, the preparations of the Indian team against the Windies have suffered a major setback. According to media reports, KL Rahul will not be able to attend the first ODI to be held in Ahmedabad on 6 February due to his sister's marriage. In the absence of KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, Rituraj Gaikwad, the team management has included Mayank Agarwal in the team. Opener KL Rahul will join the team from the second ODI to be held on 9 February. In the first ODI, a new face can be seen opening the innings with Rohit Sharma.
