New Delhi: Inderjit Singh, grandson of former President Giani Zail Singh, has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Monday granted him membership of the party. Tell us that all political parties are trying to strengthen themselves ahead of the assembly elections in five states. It also continues to try to woo the big faces of the other party.

It was reported by the BJP that at 1 pm a big personality was going to suppress his party. It is worth noting that assembly elections are due in five states next year. This includes Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur. Earlier, the BJP had ransacked the Congress camp in Uttarakhand. There, Rajkumar, MLA Congress from Purola, had joined the saffron party. Earlier, Uttarakhand Kranti Dal leader and Dhanaulti MLA Pritam Panwar had also joined the BJP.

Let us tell you that Rajkumar won the assembly elections from Sahaspur seat in 2007 on a BJP ticket. Then contested independent elections in 2012, but lost. Rajkumar was then elected MLA on a Congress ticket in the 2017 assembly elections.
