Kolkata: Indian cricket team's head coach Ravi Shastri and Bangladesh coach Russell Domingo can reach the Eden Gardens Stadium directly from the airport for the day-night Test match starting on Friday. Team India's local team manager Samrat Bhowmik told IANS that, "Both coaches can go directly. They have a program to reach Eden directly from the airport."

Indian team captain Virat Kohli and vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane reached Kolkata at 9.40 am for the first day-night Test match to be held here. The rest of the players reached the hotel directly. When questioned whether Kohli would also go to Eden to watch the pitch, the manager said that he did not know about this. Apart from Kohli and Rahane, Rohit Sharma, Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav will also reach Kolkata on Wednesday.
