New Delhi: Corona infection has become uncontrolled in the country. The number of new cases is breaking records every day. Every day the highest number of cases in the world are coming to India itself. This is the fourth time that more than a million corona cases have come up in the country. According to the latest health ministry report, 1,31,968 new corona cases have been reported and 780 people have died in the last 24 hours. However, 61,899 people have also recovered from the corona. Earlier, more than a million cases were reported on April 4, 6, and 7.

Maharashtra has registered 56,286 new cases of coronavirus infection yesterday, raising the total number of infection cases in the state to 32,29,547. With this, the death toll in the state has gone up to 57,028 with 376 more deaths. With this, 6,570 new cases of infection have been registered in Karnataka, 4,276 in Tamil Nadu, 4,021 in Gujarat, 3,119 in Punjab, and 2,872 in Haryana. Maharashtra reported 59,907 cases and 322 people died on Wednesday.

The campaign to administer the corona vaccine began in the country on January 16. As of April 8, 9 million 43 lakhs 34 thousand 262 corona doses have been given across the country. The previous day, 36 lakh 91 thousand 511 vaccines were recognized. The campaign to administer the second dose of the vaccine began on February 13. All people are being vaccinated for over 45 years from April 1.
