Corona cases in India continue to decline, 15590 new cases recorded in last 24 hours

New Delhi: More than 180 countries across the world, including India, are reeling under the corona epidemic. More than 9.23 crore people have been exposed to the infection so far. The deadly virus has taken away the lives of more than 19.78 million people. In India too, corona cases are increasing every day. The number of infections has crossed the 1 crore mark.

According to data released Friday morning by the Health Ministry, the number of corona infected in the country has gone up to 1,05,27,683. In the last 24 hours, 15,590 new cases of corona have been registered. In the last 24 hours, 15,975 patients have recovered. In the meantime, 191 corona infected people have lost their lives. A total of 1,01,62,738 patients have been recovered and a total of 1,51,918 people have died so far.

The current number of corona cases is below 2.5 million. At present, there are 2,13,027 active cases in the country. As for the recovery rate, it has reached 96.53% after a marginal increase. The positive rate is 2.02%. The death rate is 1.44%. PM Modi will launch a vaccination campaign to prevent corona in the country on January 16. In view of this, adequate doses of vaccine have been sent to all states and Union Territories.
