New Delhi: With the continuous increase in corona infection cases in the country, the number of infections has reached 71 lakh late Sunday night. However, the number of active cases has again registered a decline, which has come down to 8.65 lakh. As per reports received from various states, 41,130 new cases have been registered till late Sunday night. The number of infections has increased to 70, 92641. The death toll due to the death of 317 more patients has gone up to 1, 08693.

The number of coronavirus cases has also been increasing steadily in the country. In the meantime, 44,017, and the number of people recovered has gone up to 61,18,880. The country recorded a shortfall of 2,429 inactive cases due to an increase in healthy patients as compared to new cases of corona infection. The number of active cases decreased to 8, 65067.

Maharashtra is the most corona affected State with 2,21,156 active cases. Karnataka is second with more than one lakh 1, 20270 cases. While Kerala is third with 96,316 active cases. With the registration of 11,416 new cases of infection in Maharashtra, the most affected by the corona epidemic, the number of infections has risen to 15,17,434.
