Corona cases crossed 29 lakh in India, around 55 thousand people died

New Delhi: The outbreak of Corona epidemic is spreading rapidly in the country. So far, 29 lakh people have been tested positive for coronavirus, out of which about 55 thousand people have lost their lives. However, the relief is that 21.5 lakh patients have returned to their homes after they cured of coronavirus. 

In the last 24 hours in Maharashtra, about 14.5 thousand new cases of corona have been registered. This is by far the largest number of infections per day. In Maharashtra, the death toll due to corona has also increased rapidly and 326 patients have lost their lives in 24 hours. A total of 6.5 lakh corona cases have been registered in the state, out of which more than 1.5 lakh active cases. At the same time, the second serosurvey in Delhi has yielded surprising results.

According to the survey, antibodies to corona have been found in the body of more than 29 percent people of Delhi. This directly means that all these people have become healthy after coming in contact with corona infection at some time. Antibodies to corona have been found in 33 percent of the people of South-East Delhi. In the first serosurvey, antibodies were found in about 23.% of the people. According to the survey, youth in Delhi are getting infected with corona the most and are also getting healthy. The survey is based on a sample of 15,239 people.
