Lt Governor makes this important announcement for development of Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu: The government has become active with all the hard work to determine big development in the country's state of Jammu and Kashmir. It was announced to give fifty lakh rupees as the first installment of joint grant to all the Deputy Commissioners of the state for speedy completion of various works of public utility. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha made this announcement on Wednesday while visiting the town of Baramulla in North Kashmir.

He has immediately sanctioned an amount of 21 crores for the construction of the jetty bridge stuck for the last 22 years, and asked to complete it within two years. Apart from this, he also e-inaugurated and laid foundation stones of several development strategies. The Lieutenant Governor inspected the government medical of Baramulla and inspected the ongoing construction work there. It is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 139 crore, and will be completed by July 2021.

In addition, he instructed the concerned agencies to speed up the pace of work. Its construction work was stuck for a long time. After reviewing the development works of the city, he directed the officers to prepare the city capex plans. So that the allocation can be used efficiently. Taking seriously the erroneous delays in issuing the Domicile Certificate, the Lt. Governor directed the officers to determine the issuance of Domicile Certificate for the beneficiaries without the need for additional documents. Many orders have been given by the Lieutenant Governor.
