New Delhi: After registering 44,376 new cases of Coronavirus infection during the last 24 hours in the country, the number of infected people has reached 92,22,217 mark. With the decrease in the number of recovering patients from infection, there has been an increase in active cases once again.

According to reports received by the Ministry of Health from various states till Wednesday, there has been an increase of 2000 in active cases during the last 24 hours in the country, which has increased to 4,44,746. For the past few days, there was a steady decline in active cases, but on Friday this number had increased by 491 while on Saturday it had fallen by 4047. Among the increasing cases of corona in the country, it is a matter of concern that the recovery rate has come down partially due to a decrease in the number of healthy people compared to new cases and now it has come down to 93.73%.

During the last 24 hours, 37,816 patients have been cured, adding that the number of healthy people has increased to 86,42,771 by beating Corona. In this period, the number of people who lost their lives due to corona with the death of 481 more patients has increased to 1,34,699.
