New Delhi: The number of corona infections is continuously declining in India amidst the worldwide chaos caused by the global epidemic coronavirus. In the last 24 hours, the largest decline in the number of new infections has been recorded across the country. Today on Tuesday, around 36 thousand new cases of Covid-19 have been registered. While less than 500 people have died due to this epidemic. Along with this, the number of people recovering from this deadly disease is also increasing continuously.
It is noteworthy that this is the first time in the last few months (after July) that the number of infected people has fallen below 40 thousand and the death toll has been below 500 for the second consecutive day. A day earlier, on Monday, 480 people died. According to the latest update released this morning by the Health Department, the total confirmed cases in the country have risen to 79,46,429, out of which 1,19,502 people have lost their lives. There are 6,25,857 active cases in the country at present. The number of recoveries has increased to 72,01,070.
In the last 24 hours, 36,469 new cases of corona have been reported in the country. While 488 people have died due to this infection. In the last 24 hours, 63,842 people have returned to their homes after treatment by beating the coronavirus.
