New Delhi: The number of deaths due to coronavirus infection in India has crossed 1 lakh on Friday. This is a figure from which every country in the world would like to stay away. Let us tell you that the first case of the corona was registered in India seven months ago, after this, today we are second in terms of the number of infected patients in the world.

India has become the third country to have more than one lakh corona patients killed. India is ahead of the United States (2,12,000 deaths) and Brazil (1,44,000 deaths). However, the death rate of corona in India is extremely low compared to these two countries. The 'Virus Case Death Rate' (CFR) in India is 1.56 per cent, which is half the proportion of the global average (2.98 per cent). It is better than the US (2.84 per cent) and Brazil (2.99 per cent).

Since the first week of September, the number of deaths from corona per day in India has been the highest in the whole world. In the last few weeks, an average of 1,065 people lost their lives in India due to corona. This number was 755 in America and 713 in Brazil.
