New Delhi: The daily increase in the Coronavirus figures in India recorded a slight decline in the last few days. But the new cases that have come up today have increased once again. More than 78000 cases of corona cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. While 971 people died in a day. The number of corona infected patients in the country has crossed 68 million. While the death toll due to coronavirus has crossed 1 lakh 5 thousand.
According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry, 78,524 new cases of corona virus have been registered in the country in the last 24 hours. 971 people have lost their lives. The total number of corona infected patients has now increased to 68,35,656 in the country. However, it is a matter of relief that 58,27,505 people have been cured by beating the corona virus. At the same time, the number of active cases of virus in the country is 9,02,425. So far, 1,05,526 people have lost their lives due to Corona.
According to information given by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 8,34,65,975 samples have been tested for the corona virus as of yesterday (7 October). Out of which 11,94,321 samples have been investigated yesterday i.e. on 7 October.
