New Delhi: The number of corona infections is continuously declining in India amidst the worldwide chaos caused by the global epidemic coronavirus. In the last 24 hours, there has also been a slight decline in the number of new infections across the country. About 50 thousand new cases of covid-19 have been registered yesterday i.e. on Wednesday. While 517 people have died due to this epidemic. Along with this, the number of people recovering from this deadly disease is also increasing continuously.

According to the latest update released this morning by the Health Department, the total confirmed cases in the country have risen to 80,40,203, with 1,20,527 people dead. There are currently 6,03,687 active cases in the country. At the same time, the number of recoveries has increased to 73,15,989. Let us tell you that in the last 24 hours, 49881 new cases of corona have been reported in the country. While 517 people have died due to this infection. At the same time, in the last 24 hours, 56,480 people have returned to their homes after beating the coronavirus.

Recently, the Health Ministry said that during the festive season, new cases of corona infection have increased in Kerala, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Delhi. Apart from this, Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan also said that people have to be vigilant and to avoid corona, wearing masks and washing hands periodically is very important. Apart from this, he said that cases are increasing in some states during festivals, so it is necessary to adopt these measures.
