India has been ranked 24th in the QS Higher Education System Strength Rankings (HESSR) 2016 by scoring 60.9 out of 100. While, the countries like US, UK and Germany bagged positions 1, 2 and 3. US scored 98.5 out of 100 and secured 1st position.
Categories that comprise of HESSR assessment are: System Strength, Flagships, Access, Economic Concept of different countries in higher education.
The final ranking is dependent on all the four categories as all these categories are given equal statistical positioning.
