New Delhi: The way the neighboring country Nepal has started showing anti-incumbency in recent months has created a new problem for Indian diplomacy. In order to make the relationship with Nepal as it was before and to remove the tussle of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, the State Department has started at various levels.
Indian Ambassador Quatra to meet Nepal Foreign Secretary Bairagi soon: Indian Ambassador Vinay Quatra's meeting with Nepal Foreign Secretary Shankar Bairagi is fixed on Monday. Although this meeting is officially in the context of development projects being carried out in Nepal with Indian assistance, but other matters of bilateral cooperation also need to be discussed. Apart from this meeting, Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Shringla is also in talks with Nepal's Foreign Secretary which is being called around this meeting.
Meeting to review bilateral relations between India and Nepal on 17 August: This will be the first time after Nepal's decision to include three parts of India in its geographical area, between the two countries at the level of the State Department. State Department sources said that a meeting is going to be held on August 17, 2020 to review bilateral relations. In which the progress of development works will be recorded. This meeting is being done from the year 2016 at a fixed interval. Now that many kinds of development programs are going on in Nepal with the help of India, the importance of this meeting is increasing.
