Amaravati: BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav wondered why on the last day, Andhra Pradesh needs 3 capitals while it has only 1 capital in a state like Uttar Pradesh with more than 4 times population. Addressing a BJP program in Vijayawada, he warned that 3 capitals should not be allowed to create 3 times the means of corruption. He called upon the party workers of Andhra Pradesh to fight against corruption and to protect the interests of the farmers of Amravati who provided their lands for the development of the capital.

Ram Madhav has said that the role of the Center is limited on the issue of capitals, but this does not mean that questions should not be raised on this. He called upon the workers to work for gaining power in the state in 2024 and said, 'Don't try to go into battle with a gun on Modi's shoulder. If you do this then you will remain in one percent.'

He said that Modi will be PM for the next 10-15 years. We can benefit from their good governance and people oriented programs, but this is not enough. The goal is to rise up as a powerful force. On this occasion, Legislative Council member Somu Veeraraju took charge as BJP state president.
