New Delhi: After the lockdown of two and a half months, most religious places across the country have been opened. People gathered for worship in the temples, churches, gurudwaras and mosques this morning along with the worshipers of all religions. Pictures of offering prayers from the Idgah Mosque in Lucknow have come up in the media, in which only five people started worshiping from the first prayer of the day Fajr here, following social distancing.

While giving information, the Imam of Idgah Mosque Maulana Rashid Firangi Mahali has said, "People were very happy with the opening of the mosque. Only five people attended this namaz and all used sanitizer before entering the mosque." Apart from Lucknow, the doors of most mosques in the country's capital Delhi have also been opened for the Namazis. Imam Ahmad Bukhari of Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in Delhi, says that the biggest challenge is to allow Namazis in the limited number of prayers. Jama Masjid of Delhi is full of tourists in addition to Namazis during the normal days and people from all over the country come to see this architecture of the Mughal period.
