New Delhi: The Indian women's cricket team, set to make the final for the first time, is ready to take on England in the first semi-final of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup to be held at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) here on Thursday. But due to rain, the toss of the match is delayed. According to ICC rules, it is mandatory for a match of 10–10 overs to be decided in a match.

It is necessary to have a toss by 11:06 am. If the toss does not happen by 11:06 pm, then the result of the match will be decided on the basis of the standards set by the ICC. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has turned down Cricket Australia's request to have Reserve Day for the semi-finals in the Women's T20 World Cup. Two semi-final matches will be played on Thursday in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup.

Let us tell you that in the second semi-final, host Australia will face South Africa. There is a possibility of rain during the second semi-final match on Thursday and if both semifinal matches are cancelled due to rain, then Australia and England will miss a place in the final. In such a situation, India and South Africa will reach the final due to being on top in their respective groups.
