Indian Air Ambulance Crashes Near Bangkok, Sushma Swaraj tweeted

During en route to Bangkok an air ambulance from India has crash-landed. In the incident, the pilot lost his life while two doctors of the Gurgaon’s Medanta Hospital got injured. Yesterday, the plane had taken off for Bangkok yesterday from New Delhi. In the afternoon, it stopped midway in Kolkata to refuel and later, crash landed.

Sushma Swaraj, the External Affairs Minister tweeted on her twitter account about the incident. She wrote “The Air Ambulance of Medanta Hospital with five member crew caught fire and crash-landed near Bangkok”

The injured were shifted to Bangkok Hospital by Army helicopters.Our Mission has just informed me that we have lost pilot of the Air Ambulance Arunaksha Nandy. Dr.Shailendra and Dr.Komal are in the ICU. The other two have sustained minor injuries, in series of a tweet she wrote.

Our Mission is extending them all help and assistance.My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, she wrote.
