In 5 days, this man built a unique aircraft with 1360 matchsticks

Today is the 89th anniversary of the Indian Air Force. Let me tell you all that like every year, this time too, this day is being celebrated with gaiety at Hindon Airbase in Ghaziabad. In fact, Indian Air Force Day is celebrated every year on 8th October in India with great fanfare. You must be aware that the Indian Air Force (IAF) was formed on 8th October 1932 under the Indian Air Force Act. During that time, the Indian Air Force has been made an auxiliary force of the Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom, but now the Indian Air Force is one of the most formidable air forces in the world.

Now, on the special occasion of Indian Air Force Day today, Saswat Ranjan Sahu from Odisha has done wonders. In fact, he has replicated the Westland Wapiti aircraft using 1,360 matchsticks. Talking about this, he said, "It took me 5 days to build a 33-inch-long and 40-inch-wide model of Westland Wapiti.'' You must be aware that the Air Force plays an important role in the security of the country.

Very few people would know that before independence, the Air Force was called the Royal Indian Air Force. Not only that, the Indian Air Force is the fourth largest air force in the world after the United States, Russia and China and over the years the Indian Air Force has proved its capability and strength in various wartime and peacetime operations.
