Washington: Airline service has badly affected by corona pandemic. The wheels of the aircraft were stopped during the lockdown, which is now slowly returning to its old speed. After India allowed the ground handling operation of American aircraft, now the US has also allowed the ground handling operation of Indian aircraft.

The US Department of Transportation said that it has prepared a plan to start the ground handling operation of Indian aircraft at US airports on Thursday. The department says that this announcement was made at a time when American aircrafts have been allowed to carry out the entire process of ground handling operations at Indian airports. Ground handling operations include ticketing, check-in, sorting of goods, filling of fuel and de-icing.

Let us tell you that in late July, India had allowed American air carriers to resume flights after criticism from the Trump administration. The Indian government had banned all airlines in the United States, citing the Corono epidemic. In June, the US Department of Transportation accused India of engaging in "inappropriate and biased behavior" on charter air carriers.
