Army officials said that the ballistic helmet has been made by Major Anoop Mishra under the 'Abhed Project'. Under this, a full body protection bulletproof jacket has also been developed. After this incident, he decided to make a new bulletproof jacket. A bulletproof jacket designed by him can withstand a sniper bullet from 10 meters. Apart from this, Military Engineering College, Pune, along with a private firm, has also developed the world's cheapest gunshot locator. It can detect the exact location of the bullet from a distance of 400 meters. This will help in the fast detection and neutralization of terrorists.
