Chandigarh: Indian Army received the congratulations from Haryana Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki for effectively carrying out the surgical strikes on the terrorist launch pads in Pakistan-occupied-kashmir.

According to the sources, “Solanki was interacting with the newly appointed General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C), Western Command, Lt Gen Surender Singh, who made a courtesy call on him here on friday.”

The Governor while appreciating the work of the Indian Army, said, “its brave soldiers are always prepared to sacrifice their lives in the service of the nation”.
