Pak breaks ceasefire in Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian soldier martyred in firing

New Delhi: A ceasefire was breached by the Pakistan side along the Line of Control in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir. A soldier of the Indian Army has been martyred in this firing by the Pakistan Army. Indian Army spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Devendra Anand has told the media that the hero Rajiv Singh Shekhawat has been martyred while responding to the firing from the Pakistani Army.

Shaheed Rajiv Singh Shekhawat was a resident of Luhakana Khurd village under Jaipur in Rajasthan. He is left behind by his wife Usha Shekhawat. The statement from the Indian Army said that 'Nayak Rajiv Singh Shekhawat was a brave, motivated and honest soldier. The nation will always be indebted to him for his supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty.

Let us tell you that since theabrogation of Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan has been badly bombarded and is continuously firing from across the border. Earlier on Saturday, Pakistan broke the ceasefire once again and opened fire on the Line of Control (LoC) in Dighwar sector of Poonch district. The Pakistani Army was continuously firing from across the border and firing shells, while the Indian Army was also giving a befitting reply.
