New Delhi: Former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday shared a video of Indian students trapped in war-torn Ukraine on his Twitter account. He has appealed to the central government to make arrangements for the evacuation of the students immediately. Rahul Gandhi has said that the visuals of Indian students in bunkers are disturbing. Many students are trapped in eastern Ukraine, where horrific attacks are taking place.

Let us inform that the Indian government has intensified its efforts for the return of Indians trapped in Ukraine due to Russia's attack, in this sequence, a flight has left from Mumbai airport for Romania's capital Bucharest on Saturday morning. Flight number AI1943 took off from Mumbai airport at around 3.40 am today and is expected to reach Bucharest airport at around 10 am IST.

Through this flight, 470 students will be brought back to India. After this, 1 flight will reach Delhi from Hungary. At the same time, 2 flights of Air India are expected to reach Delhi from Romania. He told that any Indian citizens who have reached the Ukraine-Romania border by road. They will be taken to Bucharest by Indian government officials, so that they can be brought home through Air India flights.
