New Delhi: Cases of coronavirus infection are increasing day by day across the country. Curfew and lockdown have been imposed at many places in view of this fear-threatening situation. Meanwhile, a new proposal for lockdown has been prepared, which talks about implementing lockdown in 150 districts where the positivity rate (Positivity Rate) is more than 15 percent.

According to media reports, the proposal has been prepared at a high level by the Union Health Ministry, but the final decision will be taken only after talks with the central governments. Some changes may also be made to the proposal later as per the requirement, but to control the present situation, the focus has been on districts where the positivity rate is high.

On the other hand, 3 lakh 60 thousand 960 new corona cases have been registered in the last 24 hours, after which the total number of infected persons has increased to 1,79,97, 267. According to a report released by the Health Ministry, 3293 people have died in the last 24 hours, while 2, 61,162 people have recovered and discharged, with the total number of active cases now at 29,78,709, while the death toll is 2,01, 187. The number of people recovered from the infection is 1,48,17,371.
