The popular singing reality shows Indian Idol 12 brings special episodes to entertain the audience every week. The show is attended by a special guest every week and teaches the contestants and boosts their morale. Last week the show was Kishore Kumar Special in which his son Amit Kumar Ganguly was a special guest.
The same show saw contestants and judges giving tributes to Kishore Kumar which have not been liked by fans and are being criticized. Now there has been a reaction from Kishore Kumar's son and he has said that he too did not like the episode. Amit Kumar Ganguly has said that he is aware of the criticism against the episode. He also said that he was told that he had to praise everyone no matter what. He also confessed that he had gone to Indian Idol 12 for economic reasons.
Amit said, "I did what I was asked to do." I was told that everyone has to be praised. No matter what they sing, you have to lift it. Because it is being tributed to Kishore Da. I thought it would be a tribute to my father. I had also asked him for the script of my portion in advance but nothing like that happened.
