The election for the UNSC Temporary Security Council is going to be held on 17 June. The election process will be the first activity in the United Nations campus after its closure in mid-March this year. Speaking to the media from New York, Ambassador Tirumurti said that India will win by a two-thirds majority in the Elite-15 club of the Security Council. He said that his priority would be to give a stage to those voices that have not been heard yet.
