On India’s 78th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a surge in interest from global companies looking to invest in the country. Speaking from the historic Red Fort, Modi urged state governments to compete in attracting these investments by crafting effective policies, ensuring good governance, and maintaining law and order.

Modi described the current moment as a "golden opportunity" for India to become a global manufacturing hub. He emphasized the need for initiatives such as "Design In India" and "Design for the World" to elevate the country’s manufacturing sector.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the potential for Indian professionals to take a leading role in the burgeoning global gaming industry. Aligning with the Industry 4.0 revolution, he stressed the importance of comprehensive skill development across various sectors, from agriculture to sanitation. Modi pointed out that the 'Skill India' program has sparked significant growth and new momentum in this area.

Promoting the "Vocal for Local" initiative, Modi emphasized its role in India's economic strategy. He introduced the "One District, One Product" scheme, which encourages districts to specialize in unique products to enhance exports and regional pride.

 Prime Minister Narendra Modi also highlighted the urgent need to transform India's agricultural sector. Speaking from the Red Fort on the 78th Independence Day, Modi outlined the government's comprehensive efforts to improve farmers' lives.

He raised concerns about the decline in soil health caused by excessive use of chemical fertilizers. In response, Modi announced the launch of new programs aimed at promoting natural farming practices. Additionally, he noted that budget allocations have been increased to support these initiatives and encourage sustainable farming methods.

Modi also outlined the country’s commitment to becoming self-reliant in energy and tackling climate change as part of its broader goals.
