New Delhi: Coronavirus outbreak in the country is not taking its name to stop. The central government is making every effort to deal with the epidemic. In the midst of these efforts, the country's first plasma bank, built-in Delhi, has been a commendable aid in the war against the global pandemic Coronavirus. Plasma therapy is proving to be very effective in the treatment of corona patients in many countries including India. Corona patients are helped in quick recovery through plasma therapy.

Significantly, the government has made a protocol for plasma therapy. Plasma therapy is given to the same patient who is fit under the protocol. Not every corona patient can be given this therapy. If a corona patient requires plasma therapy, it is approved by the hospital. After which the patient is given plasma from the bank. No person can go to a plasma bank and ask for plasma.

People who are healthy with corona can donate their plasma anytime. Delhi's plasma bank has 8 machines and one machine can donate 6 donor plasma. Plasma bank has arranged to donate 40 people plasma simultaneously. 300 plasma can be stored in the plasma bank. The donated plasma unit can be used for one year.
