India's legendary tennis player Leander Paes has announced his retirement. Giving information on Wednesday, 46-year-old Paes said that 2020 will be the last year of his career. After this, he will say goodbye to tennis. Pace, who won a singles medal in the 1996 Olympics on social media, informed everyone about his retirement by congratulating him on Christmas. Paes has given this information by tweeting.

Paes wrote on Twitter, "I want to announce that 2020 will be my last year as a professional tennis player." He further wrote, 'I look forward to the 2020 tennis calendar in which I will play select tournaments, travel with the team and celebrate with my friends and fans around the world. Because of all of you, I have reached here. I want to thank all of you this year. Pace also asked his fans to share their favorite memories associated with him, whose hashtag will be 'One Last Roar'.


He said, '2020 will be an emotional year and I await you all. He thanked his family especially sisters and daughter and thanked them for their support. He hinted that the Tokyo Olympics could be the last tournament of his career. Paes has achieved many achievements in his career. He has won several Grand Slam titles in singles as well as doubles.
