NEW DELHI: The first General Budget 2019 to be presented today for the Modi government's second term is eyeing the entire decade. Today, for the second time in nearly half a century, a woman representing half the population will present the budget this time. The Budget is scheduled to be presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday, 49 years before the Union Budget was presented by Prime Minister and Finance Minister Indira Gandhi on February 28, 1970.
