Indore: As we all know that this time 6 cities in India have been given a 5-star rating in terms of cleanliness. Indore city of Madhya Pradesh has also been included in these 6 cities, while Indore has already got the first place in terms of cleanliness three times. Where Indore has been given a 5-star rating by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development on Tuesday, May 19. According to the 5-star rating, 5 more cities of the country have been included in addition to Indore. In this list, the most two cities from Gujarat - Rajkot and Surat are included. Apart from these, Ambikapur in Chhattisgarh, Mysore in Karnataka and Navi Mumbai in Maharashtra have also been included. However this time also no city has been given a 7-star rating.

According to information received from sources, Indore had won the cleanest city award in the country thrice, the number of corona patients growing there had disappointed the people of the city. This rating has once again brought a smile on the faces of public representatives and people of Indore. This is the only city in Madhya Pradesh which has got five stars in the garbage-free rating.

The Union Urban Development Ministry has instructed cities to focus fully on 'third bin' in the 2020-21 rating guidelines. So far, 1000 points were given for star rating in the cleanliness survey, but in the new guideline, it has been increased to 1200.

Asad Warsi, Solid Waste Management Consultant of Indore Municipal Corporation told that till now the Ministry has been directed to separate wet and dry waste- Used to give instructions, but in view of corona infection, the use of third bin is now necessary. Indore is already using 'third bin'. It contains diapers, sanitary napkins and bad medicines. The ministry now wants to do this across the country. The difference is that the new guideline will also have a vest attached to the COVID in the 'third bin'. For example, masks, caps etc. have to be taken in a third bin. It has also been said that bodies will have to use incinerators to dispose of the COVID West.
