Indore: Indore is already at the top in terms of cleanliness. Now Indore Municipal Corporation has also come at number one in the list of performance index. Indore and New Delhi Palika Parishad are the two municipal corporations in the country which have appeared in the top ranking. The Union Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry released the Performance Index List of Municipal Corporations for the first time.

Indore ranks first among the municipal corporations with a population of 10 lakh in this list, while the New Delhi Council of Municipal Corporations with a population of less than 10 lakh has been at the first place. These have been released under the name of Performance Index -2020. Let us know that Indore has topped the whole country in terms of cleanliness for four consecutive times. At the same time, Indore Municipal Corporation has put all its strength to become number one for the fifth time.

Let us know that Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has released this report. 114 cities were included for the performance ranking of municipal corporations. It included 5 pillars and 100 indications, based on which their ranking was decided. These 5 pillars included the services, economic condition, policy, technology and administration of the municipal corporations.
