Nandan Nilekani, who was appointed as the non-executive chairman of Infosys, the country's second largest information technology (IT) company, said on Friday that he will focus on bringing stability to the company, ensuring that there is no dispute within the company.

Let me tell you that he has been given this post last night. Within a few hours of receiving the responsibility of Infosys operations, Nilekani got involved in the efforts to offset the damage so far, so that the investors remained confident.

Nilekani said that it would be a hurry for them to comment on Infosys's strategy and income. He said that he is committed to implement the highest standards of company operations in Infosys.

Infosys has been in crisis for the last few months due to the tension between the founders and the management due to allegations of irregularities in the company's operations.

Last month the changes were made at the Board of Directors of Infosys. Chairman R. Seshasayee and two other independent directors were removed from the post. Vice President Ravi Venkatesan was made Independent Director

He said, "I am a fan of NR Narayana Murthy. I will try that there should be good relations between Infosys, Narayanamurthy and other founders."

Nilekani said that he will be able to give more information regarding the strategy in October. Right now, their full focus is on stability. He said, "I will try that there should be no mutual mindset in the company and all people remain united."
