New Delhi: Former Indiam batsman Mohammad Kaif has been appointed assistant coach of Delhi Daredevils team for the upcoming IPL season. The team announced, "Delhi Daredevils have appointed former India batsman Mohammad Kaif as the assistant coach for the upcoming Indian Premier League season."

In the 2017 IPL season, Kaif has been the assistant coach of Gujrat Lions. He will be the assistant coach of Ricky Ponting and James Hopes in the Daredevils team.
