Management said in a statement that "RR captain Sanju Samson has played against Punjab Kings at Dubai international stadium but has been fined for slow overs in the middle of the match.''
According to the statement, "The team could not complete the over for the first time under the rules relating to slow over speed of the IPL Code of Conduct and hence Samson has been fined Rs 12 lakh. This was the team's first match after the IPL was restored.''
