Some batting case from Hyderabad has come to light with the ongoing IPL desire. The task force arrested three cricket betting managers from the hotel at Road No.13 in Jubilee Hills here on Thursday night. They agree to bet from punters on IPL cricket matches in the mobile app. Officials said that cash, phones and other equipment were recovered from Pratik Agarwal, Arun Kumar Sharma and Vikas Agarwal. They collected phone lines from Neeraj Jain, a cricket bookie from Attapur on commission basis.
However, police have identified Jain as being in custody earlier, police said, betting on the match between Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Dubai when they were caught. They were handed over to the Jubilee Hills police for further action.
