Threan: According to a senior diplomat quoted by the news outlet ISNA on Thursday, the Iranian government believes Israel was behind the attack last Saturday night on a military facility in the capital city of Isfahan.

Iran's representative to the UN, Amir Saeid Iravani, allegedly made the charge in a letter to top UN officials, according to ISNA. According to his letter, a preliminary investigation had indicated that Israel was accountable for the drone attack.

He denounced the incident and cited remarks made by top Israeli officials, including a CNN interview this week with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who would not confirm or deny Israel's involvement in the Isfahan attack.

Every time there is an explosion in the Middle East, Israel is held accountable or given blame; sometimes we are, sometimes we are not, the prime minister told a US news outlet.

Iravani emphasised in his letter that Iran was entitled to use whatever means it saw fit to "decisively respond" to the threat posed by Israel.

The Iranian diplomat also denounced the comments made about the attack by a Ukrainian official. President Vladimir Zelensky's aide Mikhail Podoliak presented the incident as payback for what Kiev claims is Iranian assistance given to Russia in the conflict with Ukraine.

"War logic is murderous and inescapable. Asserting that Ukraine "did warn you," Podoliak said, "It bills the authors and accomplices strictly.

Iravani reaffirmed that Iran was not involved in the Ukraine crisis and labelled as "irresponsible" any remarks endorsing attacks on Iranian infrastructure.

Iranian experts examined the drones' wreckage from the attack and determined the manufacturer, according to ISNA. They reportedly discovered hints after comparing the aircraft's power system, power supply, and body to samples they had on hand.
