Tehran: The number of coronavirus infections in Iran has started increasing rapidly once again. The increase in the number of Corona cases has given rise to fears of a second wave of epidemic in the country. More than three thousand cases are being reported in Iran continuously for three days. 3117 on Tuesday, 3134 on Wednesday and 3,574 new cases have been registered here on Thursday. On June 2, more than three thousand cases were registered in Iran for the first time after two months. Earlier, on 28, 30 and 31 March, there were more than three thousand cases in one day.

According to WorldMeter's website, the total number of corona infected in Iran has now gone to 1 lakh 64 thousand 270. Of this, 8071 people have lost their lives. Like other countries, the Corona cases in Iran started coming from the last month of February. Cases increased till the end of March, after which the number of new patients kept falling. With the decline in cases, in April, the Iranian government also started relaxing restrictions. Public transport started, mosques opened and small traders also started their business.

According to Iranian reports, adherence to social distancing rules in major cities like Tehran has fallen from 90 to 40 percent. Most people started going out in public without a mask. Due to which the number of corono cases is seeing a surge again, although 77 percent of the total infected people in Iran have been cured of corona. Out of 1.64 lakh infected, 1.27 lakh people have become healthy, only 28714 people are undergoing treatment for corona.
