IRCTC introduces tour package for Durga Puja from Kolkata

Kolkata: As part of the "Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat" campaign for the Durga Puja festival, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced the "Royal Rajasthan Bharat Gaurav Special Tourist Train" travel package.  On October 20, 2023, the Special Tourist Train package would leave Kolkata for Rajasthan.

The Ministry of Railways and IRCTC are running Bharat Gaurav Tourist Trains on several theme-based circuits throughout India as part of the "Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat" project.

As per IRCTC, the proposed eleven nights and twelve-day Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train Tour will offer easy boarding and deboarding facilities at numerous stations along the route, including Kolkata- Bandel Jn.- Bardhaman- Durgapur- Asansol- Dhanbad- Gomoh- Parasnath- Hazaribagh Road- Koderma- Gaya- Dehri on Sone- Sasaram- Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn.
Famous tourist attractions like Ajmer, Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Abu Road, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, and Jaipur will also be included in the special trip train package.

The Bharat Gaurav Special tourist train's per-head package fees are Rs 20,650 for the Economy class, Rs 30,960 for the Standard class, and Rs 34,110 for the Comfort class, it was further stated.

Additionally, it stated that domestic and international air packages would be available during the forthcoming holiday season.

The Center's programme "Apna Bharat Shresth Bharat" to promote special interest circuits in domestic travel is in conjunction with the launch of the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train.
