DUBLIN: In three ICC Women's Championship 2022–25 matches (ODIs) from November 4–9, the Ireland women's cricket team will visit Pakistan for the first time. From November 12–16, three T20Is will follow.

All the 6 matches will be played the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. In preparation for the ODI series, the visitors will spend four days practising in Lahore beginning on October 29.

This ICC Women's Championship series will be Ireland and Pakistan's second straight. While Ireland lost all three games to South Africa in Dublin in June, Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka 2-1 in Karachi in the same month.

Following tours by the men's sides of Australia, the West Indies, and England earlier this year, Ireland will be the fourth international cricket team to visit Pakistan in 2022. The English men's team will arrive here in the third week of December for the two Tests and three ODIs, with the series opener taking place in Karachi from December 27 to December 31. The New Zealand men's team will arrive here in late November for the December Tests.

"We had a terrific experience hosting Sri Lanka earlier this year in Karachi, and we are now pleased to host Ireland here at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore," said Tania Mallick, head of women's cricket. Women's cricket is entering a new age, and after hosting Ireland, we look forward to setting up a women's league shortly. For what promises to be an entertaining six days of cricket in Lahore, we encourage supporters to come to the stadium and support women's cricket.

We are all ready for an entertaining series against Ireland, the Pakistani skipper Bismah Maroof declared. We'll be able to draw more people to the women's game with the support of the series. Young cricketers will have the chance to improve their skills in order to meet the requirements of international cricket during the series. We are eager to perform in front of our home crowd and earn significant ICC Women's Championship points because one of our key goals is to qualify for the upcoming ODI World Cup right away.

ODIs: November 4, 6 and 9. T20Is: November 12, 14 and 16.
