Irfan has said that it is a good idea to go ahead. Pathan has recently announced his retirement from all formats of cricket. He said, "I have been saying this for a long time that 4-day Test matches should be conducted. I think this is the proper way to go forward." Former player Pathan further said, "We also play 4 days of Test matches in Ranji Trophy and the results of those matches also come. So why not a Test match?" Pathan continued saying, "Today, the results of Test matches are coming continuously, but if there are 4 days of Test matches, then the results will come in every match. I am totally in favor of the 4-day Test."
