Raipur: A photo of the COVID isolation ward of Ambikapur Medical College in Chhattisgarh is becoming increasingly viral at the moment. Flooding has occurred in the COVID isolation ward after heavy rains. After the picture went viral, Mayor Ajay Tirkey of the city has given clarification. While clarifying, he said, "The drainage system can handle regular water flow and is working systematically, but due to heavy rains the ward was flooded for a while".

So far, the total number of corona infected in the country has reached 69 lakh 79 thousand 424, out of which 59 lakh 88 thousand 823 patients have recovered from COVID19.
