New York: In a press conference on January 18th, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu unequivocally rejected the idea of a Palestinian state, stating that Israel requires security control over all territory west of the Jordan River. Netanyahu emphasized that this stance contradicts the concept of Palestinian sovereignty. Responding to U.S. calls for a two-state solution after the Israel-Hamas conflict, he declared, "This conflict is not about the absence of a Palestinian state but about the existence of a state, the Jewish state."

Netanyahu asserted that under his leadership, Israel will not settle for anything less than total victory in its war against Hamas terrorists. He made it clear that the goal includes the release of hostages held by Hamas, emphasizing that military pressure is crucial for achieving this objective. The Israeli Prime Minister reiterated the commitment to the complete destruction of Hamas, ensuring Gaza poses no future threat to Israel.

"We will continue to fight with full force until we achieve all of our goals: returning our hostages, eliminating Hamas, ensuring Gaza's demilitarization under Israel's security control, and the complete destruction of Hamas's military and governing capabilities," Netanyahu stated, emphasizing the determination to attain "total victory" and secure Israel's objectives.
