In the ongoing conflict between Israel and Gaza, the death toll in Gaza has reached almost 27,000, with over 66,000 reported wounded. Alarming reports indicate heavy firing by Israeli forces on Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, resulting in a significant number of injured Palestinian children being rushed for medical attention.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society has documented Israeli forces' intense gunfire during a raid on al-Amal Hospital in Khan Younis. Both Nasser and al-Amal hospitals have been under siege by the Israeli military for several days, severely affecting medical services and aid efforts in the area.

Thomas White, the director of Gaza affairs for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), lamented the destruction of vital facilities supporting the people of Khan Younis. As Israeli forces continue their assault, thousands are fleeing the southern Gaza city.

Riyad Mansour, the Palestinian envoy, emphasized to the UN Security Council the necessity of a ceasefire in Gaza for the implementation of provisional measures by the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

The conflict has taken a devastating toll, with at least 26,900 people killed and 65,949 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. Additionally, the death toll in Israel from Hamas attacks on October 7 has risen to 1,139.

In a separate development, the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, reported targeting Israeli vehicles entering Tubas, a city in the northeastern occupied West Bank, with explosive devices and weapons.

Israeli forces have also intensified operations in the West Bank since the commencement of the conflict, conducting daily raids and arrests, including in Tubas. Tragically, at least 382 Palestinians have lost their lives in Israeli army and settler attacks across the West Bank since October 7.
