GUADALAJARA: Sixteen-year-old pistol shooter Manu Bhaker bagged her second gold medal for India in the ISSF World Cup 2018 when she joined Om Prakash Mitharval for the 10m Air Pistol mixed team gold on Monday.

In the join team event, Manu and Mitharval totaled 476.1 in the final. It was India's third gold medal at the world chaimpionchip.

In overall, India has seven medals and is on top of the medal tally in this World Cup event.

Earlier Manu Bhaker made her country India proud with winning a gold medal at Women’s 10m Air Pistol at International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) World Cup stage in Mexico’s Guadalajara in March 2018. She defeated two-time World Cup Finals winner Alejandra Zavala from Mexico.

Manu Bhaker is the youngest Indian to win two gold medals in the ISSF World Cup.

Germany's Sandra and Christian Reitz fired 475.2 to win the silver medal, while France's Celine and Florian Fouquet got 415.1 to finish third.

India's Ravi Kumar and Apruvi Chendela scored 348.9 to finish for fourth position.

In the individual event on Sunday, Manu shot a total of 237.5 to win through over home favorite Alejandra Zavala Vazquez, who finished second with a total of 237.1.

Frenchwoman Celine Goberville finished third with a score of 217.0.

Manu's teammate Yashaswini Singh Deswal marked the best World Cup placement of her career, scoring 196.1 points and finishing fourth in her first final emergence.
