Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi is one of the most exciting projects starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif which will also mark their reunion after a gap of 10 years. Along with the main lead, Rohit Shetty is known for casting amazing actors as the villains which give a perfect 'takkar' to the good guy in the film. And well, while we do know who is playing the good guy, here is what he has to say.

The makers announced that actor Abhimanyu Singh will be playing the bad guy in Sooryavanshi. Pinkvilla asked Abhimanyu about his thoughts on working with Akshay and Rohit. The actor told them, "Collaborating with Rohit sir and Akshay sir for such an interesting and exciting project is an overwhelming experience for me."

Talking about his role in Sooryavanshi, he said, "The role I'm playing in the film is in India working against several policemen and is on a mission. It’s an interesting role. Akshay sir and I have known each other for a while now and it has been a great shoot from the first day. It was a serious scene and we had to complete it in a day, which we did. It was lovely shooting with Akshay sir and Rohit sir made me feel as if we have known each other for years."

In Sooryavanshi, Akshay plays ATS Chief Veer Sooryavanshi. The team is currently shooting in Mumbai and after completing the 10-12 days schedule in the city, the team will head to Bangkok to shoot Akshay's introductory scene. The team will later shoot some important scenes in Hyderabad and Goa.
