The IMD said that for the next few days, there will be relief from the cold that has gripped individuals in several states including Bihar, Delhi, Uttarakhand.

The IMD said that the biggest reason for the cold winter is snowfall in the hilly areas. The IMD said that there is no respite from the cold in UP for the next four days. Not only this, in eastern and western UP, people may also have to face dense fog in the morning. Due to fog, the visibility is reduced and there is also a problem in movement. At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued for Uttar Pradesh in view of the coming cold. According to estimates, the temperature in many cities can go up to 3 degrees.

The IMD has forecast rainfall in West Bengal, Assam and other areas in the next few days. Heavy snowfall is expected in the western Himalayan region between February 2 and 4. Heavy rains and snowfall are also expected in Jammu, Kashmir, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh on February 3. From January 31 to February 2, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya and Nagaland-Manipur, Mizoram-Tripura are likely to receive isolated to moderate rainfall. The IMD said that light rain and dry weather are expected in different parts of Puducherry, Karaikal in Tamil Nadu and Mahe in Kerala for the next two days.
