Wednesday;June 15, 2016:A solider and a militant were killed in the continuing encounter with a cluster of terrorists intercepted by the Army near the LoC when they were trying to infiltrate from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, as per the police informs.

As per the army official said,“Five soldiers were injured in the operation that started yesterday and one of the jawans later succumbed to his injuries”.

Official further added, “A militant was also killed in the operation which started when infiltrators were attempting to sneak in through Macchil sector of Kupwara district of Kashmir and were confronted by the army”.

Operation is still undergoing in the area close to LoC.
